What does the survey stage involve?

A free 45-minute on-site visit. We assess surfaces for damp or cracks, measure rooms, photograph walls in natural light, and leave you with colour recommendations and a condition report.

How is pricing structured?

Do you require deposits?

30% on order, 60% on work start, 10% on snag sign-off. All payments are held in client account and itemised against milestones.

Which paint brands do you use?

Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Dulux Trade, Sandtex, Zinsser and Morrells spray lacquers. We are Dulux-approved and Farrow & Ball certified applicators.

Can you colour-match?

Yes. We can match to any physical sample, RAL code or competitor brand. We always recommend testing on a board in your actual light before committing.

Which finishes are available?

Estate Emulsion, Modern Emulsion, Estate Eggshell, Full Gloss, Exterior Masonry, Satin, Pre-cat Lacquer and more. Sheen levels from 2% to 90% depending on the system.

Will insulation improve my EPC rating?

Yes. Cavity wall insulation typically improves an EPC by one band. EWI can improve by two bands. We can assess your current EPC and advise the best measure.

Do you handle grant applications?

We prepare documentation for ECO and GBIS grant schemes, and liaise with assessors when invited. We do not submit on your behalf — your energy advisor does.

Is EWI suitable for my property?

EWI is ideal for solid-wall properties built before 1920 — Victorian and Edwardian terraces, semis and flats. We assess breathability and condensation risk before recommending.

Do we need to move out during painting?

Almost never for interior work. We sequence room-by-room and protect occupied spaces daily. For EWI, external scaffolding means minimal disruption inside.

Floor protection, dust sheets, daily clean-down, all waste removed off-site. Our painters wear branded soft-shoe covers — no boots on finished floors.

Yes. Our annual maintenance plan covers minor touch-ups, seal inspection and colour-fade assessment. Most clients renew annually.

Free remediation within the warranty period including labour and materials. Out-of-warranty repairs are quoted individually and typically completed within ten working days.
