How we work, step by step.
Clear first
We never fit guards over a dirty gutter — full hand-clear and flush before anything goes on top. About 30 mins for a standard semi.
Choose system
Hedgehog brush for light leaf load (£160 baseline). Expanded stainless mesh for heavy load with overhanging mature trees (£280 baseline).
Install
Brush sections clip into the gutter and trim to length. Mesh is hinged on the back edge of the gutter and clipped over the front lip.
Test & sign-off
Bucket of water poured over the mesh — should run cleanly into the gutter and away. Photo of every corner taken before pack-down.

Brush or mesh?
Brush is fine for light leaves and pine needles. Mesh is the only thing that handles big sycamore/lime leaves. We'll recommend on the day based on what's overhanging.
Will I still need gutter clears?
Yes — once a year for the mesh top instead of twice a year for the gutter itself. Big saving over five years.
Do guards stop overflow in heavy rain?
No, that's a falls/sizing issue not a debris issue. If you're overflowing in storms we'd quote the re-hang job instead.
